This policy covers PDF: Remove Password, the macOS app provided by IO ehf.

Your PDFs stay on your Mac

The app processes files on your Mac. Your PDFs, their contents, and the passwords you enter are not uploaded or sent to us. Passwords are used to unlock your PDF and are not saved by the app.

No tracking or accounts

The app does not collect personal data or include advertising, analytics, or tracking services. No account or internet connection is required to use it.

Preferences and saved files

Your saving and appearance preferences are stored on your Mac. Unlocked PDFs are saved where you choose, or replace the original when you select that option. You control these files and can delete them at any time.

If you contact support

If you email us, we receive your email address and any information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your request. Please do not send PDF passwords or sensitive documents.
